This entertaining and educational animation, titled Pink, tells the story behind the British business newspaper’s decision to use a distinctly different colour of printing paper.

The film, which was produced through Partizan Studio, resembles an animated scrapbook, stitching together textured graphics, notable historical moments, and bold text.

It explains how the company began using paper made from red china clay and how their decision to be ‘fearlessly different’ by not bleaching it resulted in a brilliantly recognisable feature of the Financial Times.
